that is is exactly how i feel Amy! i don't swear at the other players or my doubles partner, i just get really annoyed when i miss an easy shot or i go for a shot but i miss and know that i should have left it for my partner
but i stayed a lot calmer today! a huge improvement from monday.

lol! go you!!! unfortunately i havent learnt how to keep my feelings to myself. i get very emotional on court sometimes!
i think its good that you can though and have the confidence to qustion line calls and stuff with the umpire (as long as youre not rude). then they know youre not a push over!

i have to say i have never thrown my raquet down (yet!) and i now know who my definate doubles partner is now and he is almost the opposite of me! i get really annoyed if i miss the shuttlecock, whereas he doesn't really mind and just gets on with it! also today was my last practice session before the match so i have been practising all week! i am so tired now, i got home at 6:15 after a two hour practice today! i don't know how you do it Amy! or Andy! dontknow

Yeah... i guess it's one of those things you must get used to, and learn to live with  dontknow
When i was about 9-11, (and i know this is on a much smaller scale than Amy), I used to have swimming training for about 4 hours on a school day, and about 7-8 hours on saturdays and sundays.... and although it got seriously tiring, along with school.... i lived with it, because i absolutely loved every minute of it, and it was what i wanted to do  goodjob

No - biggest regret of my life.... I gave it up when i was 11. A very stupid moment lol  :P
I had broken my arm.... so i couldn't train for a while, and then i just told my coach that i quit.... at the time i thought it was the best thing to do, but now i seriously regret it  dontknow  Apparently i could have gone somewhere with it....but oh well..... i try not to dwell on it!!  Whistle

well apart from me losing my game yeah! except the courts we played on felt a lot smaller than the ones at school. but i also think that me and my doubles partner worked quite well as a team. so hopefullly we will still train together! So how are things going with tennis?
