Yes I've noticed that crowd getting into the matches much more than in Madrid. Though I wish more of them had been behind Andy last night.

I just couldn't get into the tournament last week because of the blue clay surface. It did play just like a fast hardcourt which makes no sense in the middle of the clay season. Nice to see proper clay tennis being played again this week.

Monaco just taken 1st set from Djoko - who gets a warning for raquet abuse. Some very noisy rallies with both grunting away.

and Nole hands Monaco another break early in the 2nd! He is not looking like he wants to be out there. Nothing seems to be working right for him today

The Berdych/Amalgro match was quite a battle too from the bits I saw. 2hrs for a 7-6 6-3 win for Berdych.

Yeah but I'd predicted Almagro in 3 so not happy Smile

Eeek this dust is away, don't know how they can see the ball!

And Monaco hands the break back, will that be the turning point that gets Djokovic in it?
