Just caught end of Monfils match - straight sets win for him over Bogomolov jnr. Loads of unforced errors between them but yes, looks a bit breezy. No good if around for Andy.

Just switched to Verdasco match now. 5-0 to him ATM
And Verdasco takes the 1st set 6-0.
Oh, Doggy got trainer on.
Doggy retires with abdominal injury.

Doggy not feeling well, hasn't eaten for two days, Neil Harman says.
I've got rather strange coverage now of Tomic/Giraldo. One commentator quietly rambling on, with the umpire deafeningly loud.

Well let's hope it's nothing serious for Doggy.
They have switched to Tomic match also. Quiet crowd but filling up a bit. Still blustery.
Match on serve. Nothing thrilling though. Off to bedski now
Enjoy the tennis.

Baghdatis lost 6-2, 6-2 to Fognini. It's sad that a player of his talent is struggling so much now. That Australian Open final seems a long way away now...

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

Was just vaguely listening to commentary - sounded as though it should have finished earlier but perhaps Nalbandian was trying to get some extra match practice in before facing Andy. 6 breaks of serve altogether, 4 for Nalby, 2 for Ramos.

Yes it's going to be interesting, but I think Andy will be fine

BTW, is Cilic the least technically sound player in the top 50?
