Loving the overhead view. Nadal is about 4 meters behind the baseline. Toiletbrush-head is on the baseline.

I want to punch Djokovic in the face.
I'm not a violent person but he really gets my goat.I guess all this first pumping was cute when it first started but he has taken it to very mean level.

Given that Nadal does not (apparently) like to play in Madrid and that he prefers the lack of altitude i.e. Rome etc, if he loses here, is his confidence going to take a nose dive in general, or just when facing Djokovic, or even, not at all?

Djokovic wins. Next number one for sure, and probably a GOAT.

Sure. Another weeks rest, and nailed on cert for the FO.

It's quite likely. Djokovic is playing at a level that's not been seen since Federer 2007/2008.

Awwwww.....bet365 switched to soccer half way through the second set and I just got back to see the joker had won!!!!! How disappointing! Well, all I can say is Andy played 'much' better last night than Nadal did tonight!

Well I thought Nadal would beat Djokovic but he did not seem to have an answer against Djokovic. In fact Andy played a better game that Rafa. Djokovic just stood on the center line directing the traffic. It was Nadal who had to do all the running. Maybe by the time the French Open comes around and Nadal is 100% fit it will be different. Also know that Andy is better on the clay he will go far at RG. We can only hope because Djokovic thinks he is superman and no one can beat him. He also forgets to be polite with all the screaming and hitting his heart. Way over the top.

Massive blow for Nadal. I hope he gets someone like Ferrer/Sod in his quarter in RG, could be interesting.
