Yes she is obsessed with Mr Smug she cant see past him and it is so obvious. At least she is off sky sports now that Marcus is back. Peter Fleming was cross with him today as he kept having a go at Andy. I wish they would let him be in charge as he is very fare. He told Marcus the other day he was like a stuck record and to give it up.

Brilliant 2nd set from Ferrer and Raonic! Great match and good to see Ferrer go through to the final again.
Well that match certainly put Andy's match into a little more perspective. Ferrer is an experienced clay-courter who had already played Raonic, yet Raonic pushed him all the way. Only the tiebreaks finally sorted out the man from the boy. Delighted though that Ferrer won. I'll certainly be rooting for him tomorrow.

Normally loose heart with tournies when Andy goes out and dont really sit and watch a game in the same way. But was interested after yesterday to see how Raonic and ferrer went. Was very surprised at just how effective ferrers game was and
I can now see how behind the game Andy is on clay doesn't have the movement. Have decided I need to let go of the Andy obsession and just enjoy the tennis. Will still be yelling at Andy when he plays though, he's still the best (guess its going to be harder than I thought to let go!)
Tessie, although I will always support Andy and am proud of him, and will continue to shout at him too, I let go after this year's AO. It may not be as difficult as you think. Try focussing on a few other players as well. That certainly helped me. Also another way is to find something constructive to do as soon as possible after one of his losses and you might be surprised just how quickly the disappointment recedes, although I'd still feel gutted for quite a while if he gets to another Slam SF or final and loses.

Aileen, I love tennis and I too like lots of players like Tsonga, Simon, Dolgopolov, Nole. I especially like watching the youngsters like Tomic and Dimitrov coming up and wondering how they'll do. Not a fan of Raonic though.
Always enjoy Fed too, though not playing Rafa, too predictable.

Wow. Ferrer has had
four
set points at 5-6 on the Nadal serve. On the 4th of them he hit a return right onto the baseline, Nadal mis-hit the next shot but somehow was still able to save it.
Just won a 5th set point after out-rallying the world #2. Saved with an ace.
Nadal holds.
Tie-break.
A double-fault and three very poor UFE's from Ferrer and Nadal is coasting. 5-1 in the TB.

And Nadal takes the first set 7-6 (1).
Gutted for Ferrer, came so, so close to taking the set but Nadal somehow clung in there at 5-6 and Ferrer just fell apart in the breaker.

Hi Dianne!
That's why I feel so gutted for him here. Not sure he can pull off the 2nd set now.

Poor Ferrer, whatever he does, however he plays, he just comes up short against the "king of clay."
