I don't think he's a tennis lover Very Happy

We got about 6 hours a day last year and now nothing.  Obvioiusly with it being covered by the beeb, we'll get nothing on Sky.  We get wall to wall netball though Brick wall and rugby coming out of our ears yawn  It's not like I can book the whole fortnight off - busy time of a month for me and no-one to cover me Rolling Eyes  Might book a few days off 1st week.

Netball?  How fascinating!  I'd rather watch paint dry. Rolling Eyes

Hope you manage to get some time off though.  How're you going to be with RG?  At least in the UK it's now being televised by ITV instead of the Beeb, but I expect there'll be plenty of livestreams.

lol When they told me at work about the English netball team coming to NZ for a tournie, I said that I didn't even know we had a netball team! There are several here and they play inter country league with Oz. The national team are the silver ferns Rolling Eyes

As for RG, either ESPN or Sky are covering this, so I should get some decent coverage, just time difference being the issue. Managed to get through today ok. Very Happy

Bit of an odd time for Djokovic to change clothing sponsors.

Thanks Allan.  From a quick check on the internet it seems that Tacchini has been having financial difficulties recently, whilst Uniqlo is a company which is

... the strongest brand in Japan, but also a business giant on a global level, whose apparel was worn by Japan's Olympic athletes in the 1988, 2002 and 2004 Olympic Games.

They have 99 stores in Tokyo, 840 throughout Japan and 200 stores around the world.

The most exclusive one is on Fifth Avenue in New York with over 8,000 square meters.

Their main competitors are H&M and Zara, which indicates that the company turned to production of casual wear, but is also dedicated to creating high quality sports apparel and to innovations in modern technology and creating textile.

Rolling Eyes  Maybe she means it this time though, given that her latest return was in order to prepare for the Olympics.

At least it hasn't stopped him becoming a Dad - he and fiancee are expecting a baby at the end of September.

Brian Baker is continuing his amazing run, beating Davydenko to reach the final in Nice. Beat Stakhovsky, Monfils, Kukushkin before that.

From the Press Association: The 27-year-old American reached the final of the boys' singles at the French Open in 2003 and seemed to have a big career ahead of him only for injuries to stop him in his tracks. Four years ago he went back to studying and began working as a tennis coach, but last year he decided to give the tour one more chance and he has not looked back.

His ranking is now 216 and climbing fast, and last month he won a Challenger event in Savannah that earned him a wild card into next week's French Open.

^ Yeah Elena.. Didn't know much about Brian Baker before, but he's hit my radar recently with his amazing comeback.
Meets Almagro tomorrow.. good luck to him.
I'll be keeping an eye on him at RG.
Sensing a crummy US made-for-TV movie on the horizon... unless Ron Howard gets in there first. Think
