That's what I was thinking.  He could be trading short term financial gain for long term losses (financially and tennis wise). It took Djokovic the best part of 6 months last year to get to grip with the new racket. Davydenko doesn't have that luxury as he is 28.

  NICOLE VAIDISOVA RETIRES TO WED STEPANEK IN JULY  .






 Nicole Vaidisova has retired at the young age of 20 and is planning to marry long-time boyfriend Radek Stepanek in July.
The Czech was once one of the brightest new stars, and her indisputably good looks only added to her popularity, but in the recent years her results were more than disappointing, especially having in mind her wasted talent.
The fact that Vaidisova lost in the first round of an ITF tournament this year is making her retirement from the sport less of a shocking decision. Her last tennis match was loss to Kaia Kanepi of Estonia in Memphis second round last month.
Vaidisova has just informed the upcoming Sony Ericsson Open in Miami that she’s rejecting a wildcard and pulled out of all her tournaments the rest of the season.
Vaidisova is ending her tennis career ranked 176th, with six WTA Tour titles under her belt – the last one came a long time ago, in Strasbourg in 2006. In addition, she can be proud of two semifinals Grand Slam showings, at the 2006 French Open and 2007 Australian Open.

He obviously has something going for him as he has "accompanied" several "hot" babes.  Perhaps he is one of those RARE guys who really loves women, understands women, gives them his undecided attention etc.  I think good looks in a guy are not at the top of the "must have" list, nor Boogers' suggestion  lol .... it's a whole lot more to do with personality.

Well he must have a LOT of personality...just never liked him, not eve his tennis really. Sad that she's pretty much settling for being eye candy on his arm instead of using her abilities

C'mon girls because Radek has a lack of beauty " according to yours  standards he can't be with a beautiful girl , i know this guy , he's really nice  , has a good sense of humour , he's not boring and not that " ugly " in real life .... she's in love with him , period .... how many people were wondering exactly the same thing when Andy was with Kim ,Roger with Mirka , not every relationship is based on looks ..... and yes Daisy he loves women , not only for a booty -call . I  'm happy for them .
