Totally insane and a pundit's whose opinions should be ignored.
Incidentally, it's not LTA that's objecting to Monday climax for USO's men's final but ATP.

I have a cold again and I think it must have gone to my brain. I wrote LTA and couldn't work out for the life of me why it was wrong lol. I eventually realised I should have said the ATP LOL. Thanks for the correction.

Maia Lumsden wins it.
Some real promising girls coming through on tour there. Dunne (17), Dean (16), Dart (16), Plews (14 - ranked 111 in juniors), Boulter (16), Lumsden (14).
Lumsden picked up her first ranking points a couple of months ago as well.

It's hard to read too much into exho performances but Nole definitely seems to be in great form! Ferrer hardly held serve all match, though he was hitting the ball really short which didn't help him.

Yes frightening wasn't it. I fear he's going to go into AO brimming over with confidence

Shame about Rafa but can't say I'm surprised. I'm wondering now whether he will play the AO or wait until the clay season to get back. From the reports I've read it seems that his knee isn't 100% yet, so even without the illness it sounds like a bit of a risk to be playing a slam on hardcourts so soon.

I miss Rafa.
I suspect he will wait for clay. Ferrer will probably overtake him in the rankings.

Here's what he had to say:
"My knee is much better and the rehabilitation process has gone well as predicted by the doctors, but this virus didn't allow me to practise this past week," Nadal, 26, said.
"Therefore I am sorry to announce that I will not play in Doha and the Australian Open, as we had initially scheduled."
