Absolutely superb match just taken place in Marseille. Bernard Tomic has just beaten 8th seed Martin Klizan in 3 sets 4-6 6-3 7-6 (7) after being down 4-1 down in the final set and in the tiebreak was down 5-1 and had to save at match point at 6-5 on Klizan's serve. Well done Bernie.

Sadly it's a common mistake at the moment because Nadal permanently being one of the top three seems to be firmly engraved in a lot of people's minds.
It's a similar situation with David Ferrer. Four in the world, and yet no one in the game seems to quite know it.
Still, in Andy's case I don't think it's something he needs to worry about. I don't think he will be no.3 much longer. I still think the only way is up.
It was good to see Del Potro doing so well in Rotterdam. If he can keep that sort of form up I think he will be top five soon. It looks like the clay season could be interesting all around this year. Mind you, is it me, or has Berdych's perceived threat faded somewhat lately? I know he can have these spells when he just disappears (last year on the grass was an example), but no one seems to be talking about him at all now.

Berdych won two singles 4 setters and the marathon doubles match against Switzerland in the Davis Cup a couple of weeks ago. But he got a wrist injury doing that and had to pull out of Montpelier (defending title) and Rotterdam (SF points to defend).
He's back this week in Marseille as top seed, Del Potro seeded 2nd.

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

Livestreaming for Marseille doesn't start until today. I'm hoping that Delpo manages to defend his title.

The Wimby ballot tickets are out!
Happy to say I got Centre Court on 3rd July - mens QF day. Hope to see Andy, providing:
1 He gets that far!
2 He's not injured
3 He's not randomly put on No.1 Court
4 There's no messing about with the Schedule due to rain the previous day(s)

Nalbandian hasn't won a title since 2010 so wasn't exactly expecting anything from him. Nadal bounced back quite nicely after the loss to Zeballos in a week's time. But still, it's not enough to gauge Nadal's return just yet.
Got to see only the 2nd set of Del Potro/Benneteau. Benny did try in the 2nd but he looked all spent to be quite honest. Is it true he apologized to Krajicek for taking Federer out? This better be a joke.

Given what Andy achieved last year, I think Wimbledon will be amazing!

Congrats on getting tickets!
I've not watched any tennis this week so far, but am looking forward to watching some of the matches from Marseille - for a 250 it's got a very strong field, with 5 top ten players. Berdych v Gulbis tomorrow should be interesting - last time they met was the first round of Wimbledon, great performance by Gulbis that day.
