After beating Laura Robsonon Monday, Yulia Putintseva making Radwanska work hard this morning. R taken 1st set on tiebreak but some great play from P - who was leading with a break until R apparently did one of Fed's "it's raining" delays (wasn't watching that bit).

P now ahead 2-1 in 2nd set, with a break. She's just 18, 5'1".

Women's tournament in Dubai - 1st seed Vika pulled out before her match this morning with a foot problem, LL played instead. 2nd seed Serena pulled out just before her match with back injury, no LL available presumably, so Bartoli gets w/o.

Bit rubbish for tournament director and fans.

Correction - Azarenka pulled out yesterday - so a bit more notice!

Wild card Jack Sock posted the biggest match win of his career on Wednesday evening, ousting second-seeded Milos Raonic 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 at the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis  lmaoff

Sorry just can't help myself, getting tired of going to the ATP website and seeing videos of this guy being "the next best thing in tennis" every time he wins San Jose which is some poxy no challenge 250 event, then the following week he gets owned by a wildcard.

I'm so glad it wasn't just me who thought that was funny. I feel good about myself now lol.

Seriously though, in some respects I can see why the fuss was made about Raonic. He does have that serve. I must admit though, for me he is a one trick pony and I don't like his game. I much prefer Dimitrov, who at least plays in a style I like.

Must just mention that Heather Watson is still going in the women's in Memphis.

Raonic has just won a 250 event beating Haas in the final, so he might have not been fully ready for this match. But still, yes, credit to Jack Sock.

Yeah because Milos must be shattered after playing 5 best of 3 sets matches and struggling against a 34 year old in the final, and btw that 34 year old who got beat in the final won his first match in memphis comfortably

Delpo's in a bit of trouble against Llodra in Marseille - down a set, but on serve in the second.
