Roger Draper to step down from LTA chief executive role
Roger Draper is to step down from his post as chief executive of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in September.
In his seven years in the role, Draper oversaw a period where Andy Murray, Laura Robson and Heather Watson all enjoyed success.
But he did receive criticism for his performance from the All-Party Tennis Group in light of his £640,000 salary
"Tennis is entering an exciting phase and now is the time to hand over the baton to a new leader," Draper said.
"Someone who can build on what has been achieved in recent years, and take British tennis to new levels."
Former British number one Mark Petchey has already stated he would be willing to replace Roger Draper and work for a reduced salary.

Federer Among Sports Illustrated's Power Players
by ATP Staff | 12.03.2013
Roger Federer is among the Top 10 power players of world sport according to Sports Illustrated, the U.S. magazine.
The Swiss superstar is No. 3 in the list, behind NBA basketball star LeBron James and golfer Tiger Woods. Serena Williams, the WTA World No. 1, is seventh overall.
Sports Illustrated writes, “Never mind that he’s the most decorated men’s tennis player ever, is there a more likeable athlete?

It's amazing what people can do with a good publicist eh. Incredible to think how much Tiger Woods was adored and what a great person people thought he was until all the news about his affairs came out.

Probably not surprisingly that was brought up in several comments below the article.

In yesterday's match Fed gave a perfect example of his arrogance: when he wanted to challenge and the umpire did not let him, he started an argument. Finally, Lars Graff was called simply because Fed did not accept the decision. He may be convinced of still having the Fed bonus.

I had a ticket for the "Question of Sport" evening - with Ross Hutchins, one of the Olympic cyclists, and, I think, a footballer. I was called yesterday as it has been cancelled - lack of interest or other commitments perhaps, but hope Ross is doing OK. It did seem a bit of an odd mix, but it was local and I had my questions ready. Anyway, don't expect to see any reviews of the event.
Some doubles coaching tips from Ross:
