Looking at the rankings, can it be long before Smugfed is down to number FIVE? Maybe post-Wimbledon?

I do. His rankings is one way I can make fun of him to tease my bro. Wink

If he doesn't win Wimbledon, or even make the final, he will be in big trouble.

I don't. He feels very yesterday. He'll be a mild threat at Wimbledon though.

Oh yes. I pity my parents who have to deal with us when we fight about Andy and Fed. Wink

The trouble with Federer is that when he's had lulls before he's been able to come back. However, I wonder what you all think, but something feels very different to me about his situation at the moment. I can't explain it exactly, and maybe the fact that I despise him is colouring my view, along with my total bias towards Andy of course lol, but Federer slipping down the rankings a bit is starting to feel possible. I wouldn't say probable, but definitely possible.

I care very much about Federer's ranking. Watching him slip to five would be hilarious. If he could also not qualify for the WTF I'd be beside myself lol.

I wouldn't say I'd find it hilarious, but I would admit to a delightful feeling of schadenfreude. Now thats a word Federer should be familiar with!

I think there's a serious possibility of Federer being ranked 6 after Wimby. yay  shocking

... though I'd take great satisfaction in paying back those smugfed fans from last year  by cheering Andy to a comprehensive victory over Fed while I'm at the O2 this year - would be worth allowing him to qualify for that!

Thats cruel and uncalled for Teejay..it isn't all about Andy you know. Whistle

That said, despite his lack of form, I can still see Federer besting Djokovic and/or Nadal on grass. He's a different player on that surface. Rule him out at your peril.

I would say that but I'd never be able to spell it.

You want to bet. Robbie, you should know me by now. Digging at Andy when he loses isn't on. Having a pop at Federer is entirely allowed because he asks for it Whistle.
