Good effort from Katie it seems..... sadly couldn't quite manage the win.

Really looking forward to tommorow now - they've not produced the order of play yet though  confused

Whooooo order of play announced for tommorow.........

I'll be seeing:

Sania Mirza Smile V. Alona Bondarenko

Alicia Molik Smile V. Vera Zvonareva

Eleni Danilidou V. Anne Keothavong Smile

Maria Sharapova Smile V. Ahsha Rolle

and

Cara Black / Rennae Stubbs Smile V. Su-Wei Hsieh / Tatiana Poutchek

Looks like a great line-up to me...... Always wanted to see Sania,Alicia, Anne, Maria and Rennae play!!!

Can't wait now lol!

I'll try and get some nice pics, and get them uploaded on here. It'll only be from my camera phone so the quality probably won't be great, but I'm on the third row so hopefully I'll have a good view!

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Woah lucky you!  Wish I was there.  I'm dying to see Anne play, but I'll just have to wait til wimbledon and watch it on interactive.

Full report will follow tommorow folks  Wink

Really hope that Anne wins, but Eleni is a tough apponent on grass: she knocked out Justine Henin-Hardenne in the first round at Wimbledon last year.

I'm back........

Well unfortunately the weather played havoc, and I only got to see one full match Frown

I did get a signed ball from Sania Mirza though when she threw a few up into the crowd after her win....... I was in just the right place to catch it Smile

I also mixed with quite a few players as I was walking around.... saw Schiavone, Keathavong, Bartoli, Sugiyama, and Raymond.

Those were the only good points about the day though Frown..... a set into Kremer V. Zvonareva and the rain came..... and BOY did it come heavy lol. Alicia Molik also pulled out which was another dissapointment, which is why Kremer played instead.

What really pissed me off though was that it stopped raining at about 4pm. An hour after that, about 5pm, no play. 5:20ish, they FINALLY take the covers off, and there's an announcment that play will resume in 45 minutes. 6pm comes....... still no play. By now it's been dry for over 2 hours. Just after 6, there's another announcment...... play is suspended. Why why why? By now, the suns starting to come out. There's no doubt about it... they could have started playing again, and if they'd been quick about it, and started it again just after 4, they could have got 3 or 4 hours more tennis into the day.

That annoyed me! Their explanation was that the players thought it was too late to start again....... hmmmmmmm
