And Fleming and Murray are playing today Very Happy  Hope they win this title!

I indeed hope so, but its going to be really tough with two of last year's Grand Slam champions playing here. Surprised

But lets hope for the best, we have a really good team in them. woohoo

Bogdanovic is out!

As is Danielle Brown, Sarah Coles and Sarah Borwell.

Katie O'Brien is still in but she plays the 8th Seed next.

In Doubles:

Colin Fleming and Jamie Murray lost 64 75.  Martin Lee and Johathon Marray beat the 2nd seeds 63 64.


Anne Keothavong and Aiko Nakamura (JPN) are through to the second round winning 63 16 62.  Katie O'Brien and Melanie south beat the 4th seeds 76(2) 63. 

Rebecca Llewellyn and Karen Paterson lost the first round 64 62.  Danielle Brown and Elizabeth Thomas lost to the top seeds 60 61.

Lindsay Cox/Anna Hawkins, Sarah Borwell/Jane O'Donoghue, Claire Curran/Natalie Grandin (RSA), Natasha Khan/Claire Peterzan are yet to play first round

Woman Singles

Anne Keothavong is through to the Quarter Finals but Katie O'Brien got knocked out of second round.

Woman Doubles

Anne Keothavong and Aiko Nakamura (JPN) and Lindsay Cox/Anna Hawkins are through to second round.

Lindsay Cox/Anna Hawkins lost in the first round.  Sarah Borwell/Jane O'Donoghue knocked out Claire Curran/Natalie Grandin (RSA) who where the 3rd seeds.

Melissa Berry/Anna Smith got a walk over on the match with Natasha Khan/Claire Peterzan.

Men Singles


Wild card Arvind Parmar is through to second round where he faces the number one seed.

Men Doubles

Wild Cards James Auckland and Jamie Delago lost to the number 3 seeds.

Lee Childs and Wayne Black are still yet to play

Some good news after a really bad day:

Martin Lee and Johnny Marray brought down the second seeds in straight sets. woohoo

Wayne Black could not save Lee Childs though. Frown 

I got this info from MTF:

Wayne Black lives in London (Zimbabwe is not exactly a nice place these days), so he will be playing in Queens and Wimbly too. Surprised

ALL the woman are out of the doubles.

Anne Keothavong knocked out the third seed and nows plays the number one seed in the Semi-Finals.

ALL the men are now out of the singles.

And the mens doubles havn't been updated yet so I can't check.

It still beats me that how Sabau beat Bloomers on grass. shocking

Lee and Marray gave a walkover in doubles. confused crossfingers


So we have only Keothavong left after four days of tennis. Frown

As such she has performed really well till now. Very Happy
But she faces top seed Laura Granville next, an opponent ranked 96 places higher. She needs to play out of her skin in order to win.
