Yea it'll be sad when she retires, it seems so young..... However I wonder how likely it is that she'll make a comeback in a few years time...

She wants to have children so after that, I don't think she'll be up to it mentally and physically, but let's hope so. goodjob

Kim played her favourite tournament, Sydney, for the last time and won the final against Jankovic.
Jankovic may be a potential top 5 player, but she's a *****. Surprised She yelled at the umpire so many times. The commentators said: "What a cow."
Then in her speech she acted all sportsmanlike. Ugh. Her crowd kept booing Kim.

Bah! I think I even like Henin more. Rolling Eyes

The tournament organisers bought Kim a little present. Smile You don't often see that.

Yeah, COME ON KIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She simply has to win at least won more grand slam this year. How awful would it be if she retired after having won only ONE Grand Slam??

It would be quite sad. But the night she won the US Open... I will never forget it. Best moment in tennis ever.

LOL I love Kim.... and yea it would be sad if she only won one grand slam, but I guess that's one grand slam more than most people.... look at Tim Frown. But anyway she's the nicest person EVER in tennis and people will always remember her. I'm sure we'll be hearing from hear long after retirement....

But I like Jankovic as well. I didn't see the game tho, but just my opinion....

Dana you'll hate me for liking both Jankovic and Henin  Very Happy

It's quite surprising that she's come back so strong. I haven't seen any of her matches but coming back and winning a tournament is no mean feat.

That's amazing - I started to watch that and gave it up very quickly as I thought it might not be competitive.  Perhaps Schiavone has come up in the rankings since I last saw her.
