Near impossible. But miracles do occur. And if Tim can pull these off............. we get back the man we are used to.

shocking  OMG what an awful draw for him!  Does he not have any luck?  I'm sure he'll give his best shot whatever.

He`ll Either Play On Wed or Thurs (Still TBC).

Yeah I KNow Wat You Mean By Dropping Down The Ranking Board Because He Has Alot Of Points To Defend In Miami and If He Falls Much Further Hes Gonna Need To Qualify For Some Of The Big Tourneys. He Has Quite Alot Of Points To Defend From Now Till Wimbledon But Then Luckly Last Year He Didn`t Make That MUch Of An Impact After Queens,

Dont forget that this is Tim Henman we are talking of. He will get wildcards pretty easily.

the part that i hate is the slow decline. jimmy connors just didn't know when to quit! he finally gave up in like 94 when he was ranked 1024 or something. timmy can go back to top 10 and then retire! go out in the best possible way. chris evert retired when she was still in the top 5!!!

Sampras was ranked quite high when he quit to wasn`t he?

But also remember that it is more glorious to be slaughtered in a battle than desert it. Sampras achieved to his full capabilities then retired. But Henman still has not fulfilled his destiny [read winning Wimbly]. If Henman retires now it will be cowardice and not the preservation of respect.
It is much better if Henman plays on and on, even if he is ranked 300 or something. By the way, I dont think Tim will be ranked 300. He should make a comeback soon. At this moment he has too much to defend.

Just think of the points he lost after Wimbledon last year and then the new (lesser) points he got, if he does better in those tournaments his ranking will go up again.  It will be difficult for him as he won't be seeded but I think its a new challenge for him and I think he can get his ranking back up by the next year or even the end of this year.
