You would have cared if any one of these were a Brit player. Even Serena.

It's a much safer shot to let the ball drop first.

And Aza breaks Serena in the 3rd at love. 4-3 Azarenka. Ho hum.
Azarenka is terrified of her own 2nd serve. Either Serena is murdering those or she's busy double faulting.

Azarenka was so close - she'll have nightmares about that one.

Hi All,
I felt so sorry for lovely Vic last night. It was a shame for me that I had a bit of a medical emergency to sort out whilst the match was on (nothing serious, just a nuisance), otherwise I might have been on the ceiling for her lol. I like her, I really do, and I think she gets as much of a rough time as Andy, in a different sort of way.
Vic looked scared stiff before the match. I wish they wouldn't do those stupid pre-match interviews. I don't see what anyone gets out of them, unless they take some sort of perverse pleasure in listening to a player battling her nerves.
I suppose you have to congratulate Serena on another slam win. Mind you, I thought her second set wobble was really unlike her. It looked to me like she was having to hold herself back from getting frustrated. The only thing I did feel sorry for is the way Barry Millns kept going on about her past misdemeanours at the US. I know she has flipped a couple of times, but I just don't think people need reminding every five minutes. That said, are we going to take bets on how early Andy's demeanour is mentioned tonight? I swear they are waiting for him to go off like a rocket or something.

I see Federerererer is not happy about Andy hogging all the headlines, he's just announced he's decided to play Davis cup this weekend, something he was considering after he got knocked out of the US open.
Shame though, not many websites including ITF have got any news about it, all the talk is about Mr Murray, and rightfully so.
I personally would not put it past Roger to only play in the Davis cup to get some of the limelight back, i really have a hard time believeing he's gone all patriotic all of a sudden
