Poor Novak, his already battered confidence is going to be damaged even further.

I wonder what Novak's Dad thinks of it all.

I wonder if Andy ever watch Nadal-Djokovic matches. Intensity between these two is something else. Still Andy fan all the way though.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Anyone else think Rafa's thinning hair looks a bit unnatural?

He's just in a league of his own at the moment, as much as i hate to say it, turned out very 1 sided in the end

The turning point though was that 3rd set when Novak was 40-0 to go 5-3 up but Nadal clutched.

Such a shame, Andy & Novak need to somehow close the gap on Rafa, i'm sure they will.

I told Murraysworld that Rafa would end the year as YE1, but not one would listen.

Joe is right once more.

Djokovic has lost in the US Open final 4 times now, catching up with Lendl's record.

Nadal now only 4 slams off catching Federer. And only needs the Australian Open again to be the 1st person to get a double career grand-slam - he could even get the double golden slam yet.

I have to apologise to those who I argued with way back at the start of the year when they claimed Nadal would end the year the as #1. I just didn't forsee Murray and Djokovic slipping as much as they have - not to mention Federer. Really poor years for both of them. 2013 has been a poor year at the top of men's tennis.
