Why would you change to something heavier in a few years?

Because mine is quite light, I've got to generate more of the pace myself with my swing. You should always try and use the heaviest racquet you can handle - but it's all down to preference I guess.

Yesterday I aquired a new (2nd hand) racquet. A Prince O3 Tour MP. Smile I didn't have to pay a thing for it.  yay

Does it need restringing?

Not sure. Think I might leave it for now. Think

Although I think it's already been restrung since it was first bought.

Head Radical Mid Plus (same as Murray as it happens). Used to play with a Prince O3 MP and prior to that a Prince Bandit MP 95. Before that, some random Wilsons that I've forgotten.

The Princes, uh, met unfortunate ends.

This is my third Radical (2 microgels and one from the previous generation). None of those have been destroyed by rage induced smashing, but two have suffered what I can only assume are manufacturing defects at the point where the shaft branches.

String tension is 55lb's and I (or rather the bloke who strings my rackets) use ETS17.

Love the Radical. Great feel, dense string bed improves my control and the balance is pretty much perfect. Sometimes have difficulty generating enough spin, but that's a side effect of the dense string pattern. Feels great for volleying as well.
