What's your tennis rating?

OMG, yesterday, I hit two kick serve aces that landed on the left deuce service line. Impossible to return!

When it goes in, I usually get a few cheap points with it, yeah. Smile

As for you? 1.5 sweetie.  Whistle

Okay guys, Julia frames the ball so much (because of her extreme western grip) that it actualy turns into a mammoth topspin shot and bounces 10 feet high, so annoying! fainting

I hope that's just referring to tennis Eyebrow raise.

But in all seriousness my backhand is more consistent than yours, watch and learn. :P

I'm between a 4.5-5.0 on that rating. Closer to a 5.0 I would think...... but definitely not a 5.5. Seems like a lot of grouping for improver groups (i.e. 1.0 - 5.0) and very little difference between say good club players/college players and pro's. But oh well lol

This is from a USTA 3.5 tournament.

If these guys are rated 3.5, I'd like to think I'm almost a 4.0.  Think

Painful to watch.  I just played with my mate for a few months and I was as good as that.

I just watched that video there and I am sooooooo much better than them. So I'm tempted to say 5.0-5.5 now... lol

Watching them does make me feel better about my own tennis but remember, if you watched yourself on video, it can suddenly make you look really sh*t. The feeling of playing compared to what you look like is quite significant.

Not sure I agree entirely...... Would have to video myself to see.... lol  I do however know for a fact I wouldn't break a sweat beating those lads 6-0 6-0 6-0

How does a pro feel watching themselves on video? Or a national level player? Or a county player? Or a good club player? How far do you go before the feeling of playing well actually looks sh*t on video? It only looks sh*t if a) you are getting horsed or b) you are trying to compare yourself to Murray.

What I am saying is, I don't think I would look really sh*t on video.... I'd look like I expected myself to look. I hit a big serve, I'm not the best at the baseline but I can keep a long rally going and am aggressive at the net. I know how to play, I just can't see how I would look sh*t unless I was having a bad day and making a lot of errors?  Think (or was playing someone much better than me)

Well, I'm only giving that opinion from my personal experience. Looking at that video, I feel I am better than them but then I remember I was filmed playing tennis once and it looks much slower than what you feel when playing. Andrew seems to agree at least Smile
