I'll say the same except for Lee instead of Auckland.

Doubles will be a hopeless case without Andy and Greg. Israel have one of the best doubles teams along with the USA, India, and Sweden, and a few more. Auckland will be no match for Elrich and Ram.

I think Auckland and Fleming are an almost certain pick.  Then maybe Sherwood (proberly my heart talking there) and maybe Boggo if hes decided he wants to play for Davis Cup this time.

Even I like Sherwood a lot. Smile Not to mention that he has enough fond memories of Israel to last him a lifetime. wink

But the question is, can Sherwood without Andy be a match for Andy Ram and Johnny Elrich? And Sherwood wont exactly start as a favourite against Noam Okum or Harel Levy. no

Martin Lee is my choice, although I like Sherwood more.

Any reason? I can't believe that!

This is bizarre. And do you think Bogdanovic will be happy playing DC knowing he's No 1 player and shouldering all of the responsibility? He wasn't even happy to play as No 3 with no one expecting him to win!

Erm.... this is the most confusing thing that I have seen in my twelve months in tennis(next week is the anniversary wink)

- Greg said that he may not play DC due to Indianapolis. He never said I wont play, he said I may not.

- Andy has said absolutely nothing, but is on the Indianapolis list.

- Bogdanovic had and even now has a tough decision to make. He would have got a direct entry into Indianapolis, but refused it. However the biggest twist in the tale is that he is defending a massive 50 points from last year's Nottingham Challenger which will drop during Wimbly(can be replaced in Dublin though). There is a possibility that he may play in the Manchester Challenger during the DC week.

As far as we know, we are not certain of having anyone of these three during DC.

A worst case scenario may arise where we will have a DC team like - Bloomfield, Lee, Baker, Auckland.

How does that team sound? wink

I don't like this at all! I can't see Andy and Greg letting the DC slip so far down! I think one problem may be that they're playing Newport, a jet halfway round the world to come back to Eastbourne to go back to America for the summer hardcourts. Maybe Andy's keeping his options open in case of a huge drop of points from Queens and Wimbledon.

I am hoping that all three of our DC team (Andy, Greg and A Bog) have a really good time on grass.

That would attract them towards some service to the nation. wink

I expect that Andy will take part, he is not defending anything during Queens. Smile

Greg has a lot to do during the hardcourt season. I dont see him taking part unless he does reaaally well on grass.

Bogdanovic will be in a dilemma, all that points stuff I meantioned above, plus he has suffered a lot at the hands of the LTA at one time. Really confused about what he may do....

Still technically Queens points to defend though as he can do nothing about defending them this week!

Some points already go in from his nineteenth best result. Smile

Did not update my points table for quite some time, will do it after Roland Garros I guess. Makes it so much easier to calculate stuff.
