Not really as i want Andy to go as far as possible, and if he met rafa in qfs theres a 90% chance Andy goes no further.

But Rafa more vulnerable to a loss at the QF stage, he'll have not played enough high quality opponents  to be playing his best and if Andy were to come out firing and put him under pressure, Andy would have a decent chance.

But yeh I'd rather Novak takes Rafa out in semis in 5 sets circa 5 hours, and Andy  plays tired Novak in final Very Happy ( one can dream hey!)

Andy can go as far but two really ideal scenarios for me would be 1. if he wins RG. 2. if he beats either Nole or Nadal but especially Nadal at RG. I'll even take Rome. Very Happy

That would be pretty damn awesome!! Andy just needs to have enough left in the tank should he make the latter stages, going 4,5 sets in 1st week aint gonna cut it. If he does Berdych/Tsonga/Delpo/Rafa will deffo be favorites in the QF match up.

Well, Sampras has always given his advice to Andy to keep his matches short in early rounds. And of course to play a bit more aggressor and mix it up if he's not too comfortable being totally aggressive.

So I'd say a very fresh Andy can beat Nadal at RG as long as he believes in it too. And just one win over either Nadal or Nole on clay will transform Andy's game on clay overnight.

I didn't know that's what it was, he just told me he had an illness. I don't go on tennis4you much, he must've told you on there, since you don't even post on mtf.

It's a real shame that you can flippantly toss that question into this thread about the possible serious health issues of a poster on another forum, someone who you go way back with.

Why don't you ask him yourself?

He's pulled a serious joke on me in the past so I can't ask him. Though this would be going a bit too far. Anyway, I don't want to talk about it anymore.

It is a public forum, so you already have the information.

You have been talking to him very recently, so whatever the 'serious joke' was I can only assume it wasn't bad enough for you to discontinue your interaction with him.

You made your own views clear in an Underground thread here about another poster talking about some issues on a public forum, and yet here you are doing the exact same thing about someone's possible serious health issues.

You can say you don't want to talk about it anymore, but you are the one who posted about this person completely randomly. I think it's very sad that you wouldn't reach out to him given how far back you go.

How in this whole wide world, is Andy Sampras' "right successor?" confused Plays nothing like him whatsoever. Thank goodness.
In your heart I suppose.
Raonic would be, I guess, if only his first strike volley was better Whistle
