Can anyone help? I was reading back on another forum yesterday and noticed my first mention of Andy as you can see in the quoted post below

 Our Tim did woefully in Hamburg this week, you think I like watching him play so abysmally? But watch I did, every single ball. 3rd round exit. Not good. unsure

I'm not going to tell you load of cynics every failure he has am I? Still, birth of a potentially huge new talent this week. 18 years old  Smile

Frown Unfortunately, once again a Spaniard. That's 2 potential top ten players found in the last 2 years. The Brits? Not a hope, apart from 16 year old Andrew Murray, who is living with and is coached by........a Spaniard  Rolling Eyes

Who was the other Spaniard? Obviously Rafa was the first, I'd clocked him at age 15, but who in the hell was I so impressed with back in Hamburg in 2004? I've racked my brains and cant for the life of me think who it was.

Almugro looked like a good clay specialist in the tier below Rafa not so long ago, but he's been crap so far this year. He just doesn't have what it takes at the major tourneys.

He was a promising junior, was he not?

Also, in that tournament, he took Coria to 3 close sets, which was quite the accomplishment for an 18 year old.
