It's expected that all brits in the top 250 will be given a wildcard - Boggo, Goodall, James Ward for a start, plus possibly Dan Evans getting a WC (ranked 316th, up 161 places this year, so likely)

WC's for Qualifiers will probably go to Fleming, Cox, Bloomfield (currently injured), Eaton. Maybe Marray and Slabinsky inbetween them, but maybe not.

EDIT TO ADD: The qualifier Wildcards are being given out on a playoff basis. So probably 8 players will fight it out for 4 places? Hard to tell, might be 16 for all we know. Could be anyone from Evans downwards but I really think he'll get a main draw WC. Playoff details to follow, to be held at Aorangi Park 9-11 June. i.e. TOMORROW!

Boggo, Goodall and Ward are currently on the qualies list of course, with 9 WC's to in the qualies draw.

Might as well cancel the mens' competition as every pundit, journalist and ex player seems to think Federer will win it.

After beating Del Potro at Roland Garros, how can anyone deny Federer is back to his old unbeatable self? lol

WHAT! WHAT ABOUT COX AND EVANS?! ED SEATOR?!! KEN SKUPSKI!!!

There's supposed to be a playoff for wildcards tomorrow?! Is that for the remaining qualy wildcards?! What on earth is going on?!

Federer did nothing spectacular to win RG. When's the last time we had a grand slam winner who won a slam without beating at least one of the top 4 guys on the way?

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it, I'm saying he's far from top form. Smile

The fact that Nadal lost to Soderling at RG means bugger all in the long run, 10 Federers would have lost to him on that day. Then there's Djokovic who will be salivating at the prospect and Andy who I think will reach the final. Nadal vs Murray final... that will be some day. fainting

I agree with all of the above ^^

I've had it with people saying the RG victory cements Federer's status as GOAT. Yes he is the GOAT but the French title does not confirm it, it was frankly a fluke considering he got away with missing all the top players while he wasn't even on particularly good form in the tournament.

He'll probably win it, it's where the players who are afraid of losing at Queens go.

Anyone seen this?

Nadal to reveal Wimbledon fitness

I had no idea it was that bad, or that he was going to announce his Wimbledon participation so early! shocking

Andy could well be No. 2 seed... Think

This is a dilemma in my head, I want Nadal to play because I like him and I want him to retain a nice lead in the rankings but I also realise Murray has a great chance of taking the title this year and even more so if Nadal is not there. Think
