I see Mahut has beaten Stan - hope that doesn't give him ideas given he could well be playing Andy soon

Stan is not the best on grass. So do not read into the result.

Mahut is great on grass but andy is better... we saw that at queens.

I like mahut but even if he took two sets vs andy he would not win.

Made up for Mahut - 1st ever ATP singles title at what age - 31?

But............if he plays Andy, he won't get close - straight sets.

In fact Andy's draw is so good before the Qtrs, can't see him dropping a set to anyone!!

don't lets get ahead of ourselves mackem.  Quite possible Andy could have  a bad day in one of the early matches and drop a set or even two.  And some players do rise to the occasion when they play Andy and play above themselves.

Mahut is a legend.

I nearly cired fot him when he lost roland garros doubles final with llodra against disgusting bryan twins also his match vs isner in wimbledon. He is geeat grass courter and if qimbledon grass was not so slow in second week just to suit ocdnadal buttpicker, mahut would have made at least semi finals of wimbledon.

i hate how grass is tailored to suit noserer and nadull.

We should rabk djoko kings wimbledon highly because  he is not good on grass really and beasted it all in 2011.

http://espn.go.com/sports/tennis/picks

6/11 picked Novak. 3/11 picked Andy and 2 picked Rafa. Nobody picked Federer.

All 11 picked Serena.
