He'd have to put up with the awful grunting though. Not really worth it.

The grunting bothers me a lot, his gamestyle is also not enjoyable, same for Radwanska.

I'm the only poster that said anything along those lines. I merely don't understand why people are always cheering him on when he's now a great threat to Murray's ranking. You can support who you like, no-one has said otherwise.

And I've never once advocated supporting Djokovic either, so I'm not really sure what you're getting at here.

Fair enough.

The Djokovic comment was more at Emma J, but she has already responded to that.

I think I detest JJ's grunting almost as much as Azarenka's and Sharapova's.  It does seem extreme for a man.  I cannot remember this dreadful noise at Paris last year.  Perhaps he thinks it is distracting.  I thought Berloq's was bad enough and. of course, Andy complained about his but still won the match.  I cannot imagine what it would sound like under the roof.

Also I see Delpo had a fall and is having to see a doctor re : his knee and ankle.  Didn't he damage his knee last year?  I hope he is not going to be another withdrawal.

Delpo's communication manager posted this pic showing Delpo with lots of strapping around his knee. Apparently his ankle is fine but his knee is giving him pain - hope he'll be ok.

JJ does not always grunt. Only on some occasions. But he is not the only male player to grunt, only Fed does not grunt. If you are a power player, grunting is expected.

I am a fan but he needs to tone his grunt down completely.

It's ok we get to watch Pirelli **** over F1 once again on BBC1.

If you like watching tyres randomly blowing up F1 is the sport for you.

I know he is not the only one to grunt but I just feel his is excessive.  These noises amaze me as I understand they do not do it in practice.  Sometimes you have to expel air in order to hit hard but it does not need to be so loud.
