Oh god, Virginia Wade commentating on the Heather Watson match.  yuk Mute it is...
I know - I was hoping she'd gone over to Eurosport for good but no such luck.

What an exciting player. It's like negative and positive, black and white, with Murray's playing style.

US Open boys' champ, too. We have been in this movie before.

Well yes but the similarities end there. After winning the US boys Andy went to Wimbledon and beat Bastl, then Stepanek and came within a whisker of spanking Nalbandian. Good performance from Golding but he's not an Andy Murray. But hopefully he can be top 50.

Benesova being absolutely dismantled out here.

So Berdych and Isner, 2 huge servers out,  already. I reckon Karlovich, Anderson, Raonic and Delpo will be on their way as well shortly!

Just goes to show what a different surface does. Berdych looked superb on clay but its a totally different story for him on the turf.

Just outside the top 50 according to the wrinkly necked Virginia Wade.

Nice to see Heather playing a blinder on centre court. My coverage stopped over an hour ago though - infomercials more important Rolling Eyes

Virginia Wade needs to be ironed.

Watson serving for the match, excellent performance from her.

Jo Konta has twice broken back the 28th seed (McHale) serving for the match in the final set. Great spirit.

She's an embarrassment. Comes out with some absolute tosh. The Garth Crooks of tennis.
