Remotes have four coloured buttons on the bottom of them (red, green, yellow, blue). Do they not have them in Canada?

Basically on the BBC they always have an program available to watch on the 'red button', often things like re-runs of the F1, or in this case other matches at Wimbledon.

Golding 4-1 up. Surprised Andreev is not playing well at the moment, Golding a bit hit and miss.

Lovely BH winner from Olly and he leads 5-1!

Well done Olly Golding!

Andreev is at the level of a club player at the moment, mind you.

Takes the first set 6-1!

Six games in a row for Golding having been broken in the opening game.

Andreev will surely improve at some point though.

Andreev holds serve for the first time - first game second set.

I'm liking what I'm seeing. Long, long way to go for Olly yet so I'm not holding my breath just yet (after all, Kyle won the first set 6-0 in the QR2 then lost 6-7, 2-6) but it's a very promising start.

Apart from Olly's match - does anyone else think it's been rather predictable and boring so far today?

Yep, apart from maybe Venus' defeat. Federer winning 6-1, 6-1, 3-0. Neutral Ramos beat Cilic last year and has been in great form on the clay, seems to be one of those guys who steps on court against the top guys having already lost the match.

Apart from Venus, Isner was in a world of trouble almost 2 sets down, went to tb. I think he'll get past Falla.

As to The Red Button:  Clearly there is not only a time difference between Canada and UK, there seems to be a button function difference too.
My red button means 'cancel.' Wink

I cannot believe Berdych dropped a set to Gulbis of all people.  w00t

Anyway, watched the TB between Isner and Falla while having lunch in the Kitchen. Really like Falla but I really, really want Isner to win this.

Saw Ramos being slaughtered on the ground by Federer. That was rough to watch even for a bit.

Thats what you get for mugging OAP's, and not being contrite afterwards.
The tennis gods were clearly not going to be on his side.

Apparently not. One way or another you are going to have to pay the price. Tough luck though.

Gulbis is the tennis version of bipolar.

Uh-oh. 4-5 down, Golding 30-0 up, double faults, then has his next ace over-ruled by an Andreev challenge. Now in trouble...

But responds brilliantly with two aces.

5-5.

I worry that if Andreev takes this set the momentum will completely shift, such is the way when a significantly lower ranked player is in the lead. Olly needs this set to keep the momentum going.

Love game for Andreev and he leads 6-5. Certainly playing a lot better than the first set now.

Tie-break. Bold prediction time... whoever wins this tie-break will win the match.

Andreev's going to win this tie-break. I've seen this so many times. The underdog's serve goes missing, the other guy starts defending well, underdog makes errors, higher ranked guy wins.

Sure enough Andreev takes it 7-4. Poor TB from Golding, got a bit tight, serve went awol and made a few basic errors.

Lets see how he responds. If matches from all the previous Brits are to go by, he'll probably go on to lose now. Only match I can think of otherwise is Edmund against Gimeno-Traver, where he lost the 2nd set TB but won the 3rd set 6-4.

Serve will be key for Olly.

HawkEye is not Olly's friend today. 8 challenges in a row have gone against him. Golding holds anyway.
