Gutting, gutting. Everything went against him, no luck at all, missed a simple volley, had set-point but threw it away.
Ultimately though, his serve went missing when it mattered most - 5-3 up (with the mini-break), 6-5 up (set point), 7-8 down (facing set point).
And that is the difference between winning 6-1, 7-6, 7-6 and going down 6-1, 6-7, 6-7. Such a fine, fine line.
Just like with England I promised myself I wouldn't get frustrated, just like with English he goes so much closer than I thought he would, to the point that I start to actually believe, and then I do get frustrated.
