Utterly amazing. #77 and #111 in the world and they only go and bloody win Wimbledon.
Marray will be around #20 in the world next week, higher than Colin, Ross and Jamie.
Such a shame that Nielsen wants to focus on his Singles career, they could make a formidable partnership. You can't win a Slam and then disband!

It's 2013!

I think this will get them in to the World Tour Finals in November.
And Marray will surely be in high demand now. He'll have a line of guys wanting to partner him.

Fantastic news for Marray and Nielsen. Many congratulations. I really hope they can stay together for more future glories. It is not easy for Marray to find someone else to gel very well with like he has with Nielsen. Nielsen has the distinct ability of being able to stand very close to the baseline (even inside it) to return serve and disrupts the server's rhythm to break serve. Not easy to find someone else of similar skills.
Hopefully this is an omen for tomorrow.

Nielsen said the same thing after the match. How does that work? Will 2000 combined points alone be enough to qualify them?

I think they'll get in due to the fact they won a slam though I may be wrong.

Allan, they seemed to think so at the end of the match.

I could be wrong but is there not a rule that of you win a slam but are outside the top 8 then as long as you finish in the top 20 you qualify for the World Tour Finals I am pretty sure that's how Goran made it in 2001!
