I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Fair enough - that's where the tennis players amongst us have an advantage and a justifiable one.

Yep, I'm still amazed that the LTA does this.

Roland Garros is best - if you're French and you want to get tickets, you have to be a registered tennis player with the FFT.

I went for the centre court, quarter-final tickets - for a reason we all overlooked. Guaranteed play.

Good thinking - let's hope it's guaranteed play from one Andy Murray too.

Crikey.. for the hassle and price of Wimbledon tickets, I'd be getting me a 49.00 euro ticket for the Monte Carlo final on the Sunday.  No chance of a bad seat at that venue and a mini-holiday too.

Been offered a choice of dates for this year's Wimbledon. Which would you go for?

Thurs 23rd June, No 2 Court, £84 (for 2)
Fri 24th June, No 1 Court, £116
Wed 29th, Centre Court, £180
Thurs 30th, No 1 Court, £96

Wednesday 29th is obviously men's QFs and a good chance of seeing Murray... but £180.

Wed 29th we can shout together above the silence that is the twin set and pearls

Well aren't you all lucky.  I have been trying since Nelson was a lad and never been offered any seats at Wimbledon.  I am to old to stand in the queue now!!!  I just go to Australia and apply on line there and I always get tickets.

This is disgusting!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/13131574.stm

No wonder tickets are so high! With all the cut backs announced and now implemented, to see these overpaid prima donnas receive over £1 million is disgraceful. This is obviously a tournament which caters for the rich punters...even more galling is when we see the matches on the Centre and Number One courts, many of the seats aren't even taken! I say if the seat isn't filled within half an hour, it should be given to someone who has been queuing up all night to get into the ground.

But then they wouldnt be able to have their fancy lunch and tea lol

Clubs get an allocation of tickets. I think that's fair enough. You should join a club?

That was last year's. I plumped for the men's QFs, watched Andy's QF vs Lopez and saw Federer lose from two sets up, too. Perfect day.

Isn't 2nd wednesday men's QFs?  If so I'd go for that Nigel as assuming Andy gets that far you can be sure he'll be on centre.
A friend has got tickets for court 1 the 2nd monday and am just hoping they might bump Andy onto 1 that day if he's playing that day as seem to remember they did that one day last year.  But I guess he's more likely to be on centre so might have to resort to murrays mount to see him.
