Well I guess no one really cares about WTA so much as it's imo a bore. But I have been watching some of the YEC and will  be watching the final tomorrow. Serena is my pick in straight sets 6-3 7-5

Nah, Sharapova will win it..I like the way she won against Azarenka. Saw the whole match and she looked very focussed and was hitting back all the possible winners. But yeah, Serena is a pretty tough opponent...so let us see.

I care about  WTA. Some matches are tremendous. I especially like Radwanska and also Kerber when she's playing well. So much potential that one.What I don't like is when one player annihilates another, with no opposition. Same with ATP matches....
except when Andy's doing it of course. Whistle

I like the WTA too - I prefer the ATP but do enjoy watching the WTA. There's been some excellent matches this year, especially in the slams. Plus the RR matches of the YEC were interesting to watch.

I'm expecting a victory for Serena today - Maria hasn't beaten her for years and their head-to-head is 1-8 in Serena's favour.

I'm more interested in the USF29 final featuring 17yo Brit Kyle Edmund.

Hi All,

I've watched some of the WTA Championships this week.

I have a funny relationship with the WTA. It's a bit of a love/hate thing. I much prefer the ATP, but there are some of the women players I like. I like Azarenka a lot. I can even cope with her noise lol. I like Radwanska for the most part. Kerber is good when she is playing well. I like Kvitova, but she hasn't been at all convincing this year.

As for yesterday, Azarenka just didn't have anything left in the tank. She looked knackered even before she'd struck a ball. Sharapova was all over her, absolutely ruthless, as she should be. I have to say, I don't think I've ever seen Sharapova move that well on the court. I still can't take to her, but credit where it is due, she played very well.

I don't see Sharapova winning today. Williams has had her moments this week, but she's sorted herself out and looks scary now. I wouldn't be surprised to see her win in straight sets today.
