Do you play tennis competitively or do you play the odd match for fun? Whatever you do post your results here, no matter how bad they are.

Today I played for the first time with my new racquet and noticed a huge difference in my game. I won the match 6-1 6-1.

Last night I played doubles whilst training with my new club. Myself and laura got hammered 6-1. On a more positive note I played against a guy I first went to coaching with on sat and it was a draw 6-3 john 7-5 me.

I'm not that good though, and like I said I play for fun, I don't care about results

Still, did the janowicz playing style pay off Very Happy Seen as you idolise him.

Can't use his style, my serve is weak. Planning on changing my grip to semi western though.

Costs a fortune to get it restrung sometimes. I had a stint with Prince and it ain't my type of racquet, too spinny if you get me.

Yeah, I haven't noticed too much spin but I don't attempt to put any spin on my shots, which is where I'm going wrong I think. Hence why I'm switching to a semi western grip.

I got the Wilson BLX Juice 100 (Azarenka's racquet) delivered yesterday and its a good purchase if you want power and spin. I got mine for £122.
