Ah, the power of suggestion.

If you thought you saw something like a plane, then you are told by the authorities that it was a 757,in your mind that's what it becomes.

I'm not saying there definitely is a conspiracy, but it's certainly made me wonder?

It's also very possible the government had agents on the ground acting as witnesses.

There are more holes in that documentary than a sieve.

Sorry, but just like the rubbish that has been published decrying the French documentary makers who caught the first plane crashing, it doesn't wash.

There have been conspiracy theories abounding over ever major tragedy, but to suggest the American Government planned 911 is ludicrous. So many people would have to have known it could never have been kept a secret.Eye witness accounts are notoriously inaccurate. Much as I loathe Bush and his ghastly colleagues, this WAS an act of terrorism. After all it wasn't the first attempt or "success" by Al Qaeda to murder innocent people. But for some reason people would rather believe half baked theories than accept there is someone out there whose sole aim is to destroy the West and its culture.

 

Anyway, today is the anniversary of that dreadful day, so RIP all those who died, all those whose lives were changed for ever through being widowed, orphaned or maimed on 9/11.

I can remember it and what I was doing as clearly as if it was a few hours ago. I just sat and watched events unfold with an air of unreality about it all. You literally couldn't believe what was happening.

Bit like Diana's death, Mandela walking to freedom, the Berlin Wall coming down and Kennedy's assassination. Truly days that changed the World.

(Although the death toll pales into insignificance compared to the nigh on 3m people killed in what has been called The African Holocaust i.e the continuing war in the DRof Congo and it's surrounding nations.)  But that isn't newsworthy apparently. You have to hunt for info on that tragedy.



Lest we forget, ordinary people just like you and me were murdered or had their lives ruined by the attack.
