The latest episode of South Park is all about the theory that the Bush administration was involved 9/11. Although they refer to a fourth of the American population as "retards" for believing the government was involved, the episode did give huge coverage to the 911truth.org website.

So whether you think 911 was a conspiracy or not, this episode pleases both sides to a degree. Those who believe the official story will probably side with the episode's view but those sitting on the fence may now feel more inclined to do their own research due to the huge publicity South Park has given it all.

The argument that David Irving always used to justify his view that Hitler  had no knowledge of the holocoust, was that the order has never been found. Some people think Hitler was too smart to write it down or it was destroyed before the Russians got to Berlin. It pains me to mention Irving' s name. The Monday night series about the Nazi trials at Nuremberg has been quite good. Hess talking about just doing his job, procuring labour for armaments, someone else in charge of transportation - the concentration camp trains. Heydrich had a big hand in it all if I remember. The phrase A J P Taylor used to describe how it could happen was "the banality of evil".

Hitler's coterie of bland, corrupt " managers" if you like. These were in the main unimpressive uneducated people who had been promoted to positions of great power eg. Himmler the chicken farmer.  They remind me very much of Saddam's coterie of family members from Tikrit.

Ahh the functionalist/intentionalist arguments for the Holocaust. I did my A Level Personal Study on that....very interesting.

First we had a couple of frames released from a security camera a few years ago, then a few months ago we saw that same video released properly yet there still was no plane visible.

Now after a successful legal battle, the FBI released a new tape of the Pentagon attack and we STILL have no plane... search me



I'm not going to say this is a conspiracy, just express my annoyance at the fact we have not seen the plane yet.

No idea if this is true but apparently blueprints from the Twin Towers, after years of being private, have been leaked to the public. Basically FEMA and 9/11 Commision Report said the towers came down because the main core columns were freestanding but the alleged blueprints show otherwise.

Official FEMA explanation:
As the floors collapsed, this left tall freestanding portions of the exterior wall and possibly central core columns. As the unsupported height of these freestanding exterior wall elements increased, they buckled at the bolted column splice connections, and also collapsed.
Maybe another reason for an independent investigation?

Ironically, Virgin Atlantic has bought rights to air the hugely popular 9/11 conspiracy documentary, Loose Change 2, for their in-flight TV during the month of May.

Having watched Flight 93, I hate anyone who may have conspired to do this attack, government or otherwise... I cried during that movie... And I don't cry much...

Before it was "nearly cried" but now you did actually cry? Awww hug

I tend to nearly cry watching Prison Break but that's pretty much it.

Virgin Airlines drops in-flight 9/11 conspiracy movie

In a statement Virgin Atlantic now says that although viewers have the choice over what to watch on board, they may be offended.

Earlier this year Irish public broadcaster RTE dropped Loose Change from its schedule after similar complaints.

Virgin isn’t exactly lucky these days when it comes to movies. British Airways has airbrushed a scene of arch-rival Sir Richard Branson out of its in-flight James Bond movie "Casino Royale.” Shots of the tail fin of a Virgin plane have also been obscured.

Didnt knw where to put this but here goes.

My work colleague was talking about terrorism and the 911 attacks, and he mentioned something about devil faces appearing in the smoke of the towers. Has anyone else heard about this? I checked on google for images and it looks pretty freaky!

You know, this is making me really nauseated.  I cannot think of something as spurious as smoky devil images when what is nailed to the forefront of my mind is that almost 3000 people from 80 different countries lost their lives more or less immediately, including 200 who leapt from the buildings.  I have images of people being crushed to death, gasping for air and breathing in cement particles, being burned alive and being able to smell themselves being burned alive ........ I'm sure I don't need to go on.

And you're quite right - I was at liberty to ignore the thread in the first place.
