50 more points and Boggo should be in the top 100. shocking

If he wins the title in Nottingham, he'll do it. woohoo So we could see him getting a two digit ranking as early as the Monday after the next one. yay

The failure at Nottingham really hurt his cause of getting a direct entry into the AO. Frown

I think that a ranking of 100 will be enough. For that, he needs to get his present total of 379 up to around 410.

Bratislava 100K+H.

He defends 5 points. A quarters appearence means a gain of 14 points.

Dnepropetrovsk 125K+H.

He defends 5 points. A quarters appearence means a gain of 16 points.

Shrewsbury 25K+H.

He defends 50 points. Although there will be a few withdrawals, he may not be one of the top four seeds.

Alex does not play in the Maui 50K+H during the last week of the Challenger calendar.

He defends 5 points during this week.

So even if he reaches the quarters of both Bratislava and Dnepropetrovsk and wins in Shrewsbury, his total will be 408. Frown

However, there is hope - this year, 11 players withdrew and as many as 13 players withdrew last year. And you never know, Boggo can win one of the two big money Challengers and make things really simple.  cmon yeah

But I hope that he will change his decision and play in Maui. The field should be really weak and he will have a good chance of even winning the title.

I hope that he will change his mind and enter Maui. Smile

Nice one.   I'm sure you all know but Boggo has his own website at

alexbogdanovic.myfreeforum.org

Shouldn't that come up in blue?  Hope I've got it right.

well played Boggo Agogo.
still losing 5 points next week if he doesn't get the SE for Maui, wouldn't be the worst idea with that 120 points to defend next year!!

Week 6, Bergamo: upgraded from $50K+H to $100K+H

Boggo has points to defend here, and this means the field will be stronger but it also means that theres more points available if he doens't win it he can still make a few points by making the qauters or something.

Boggo wins his firtst round Qualy match against Amer Delic, Amer is a top 100 player ranked currently at 93 so boggo should be happy with this. Also Delic beat Boggo last time they played in 3 sets.
Twas close this time as well but boggo broke Amer with the last point of the game with the score at 6-5 in the third to secure his 2nd round berth.
6-2, 4-6, 7-5

Next up for Boggo will be Ivo Minar who is currently ranked just below Boggo, no previous meetings between these two
