I think it's part of his new image plan which involves him being more fun on court, not wearing his hat (makes him look younger and friendlier) and giving a few smiles in interviews. Some might even suggest that all this is so he can increase sales of his book Even if it is some sort of new PR campaign, I still agree with it because Andy does seem like a nice guy but people just don't see it enough. |

If these image changes were trying to promote him as something he's not I'd be dead set against it. PR at it's worst. But it's just his management trying to get the public to see the Andy his close friends and family, and pretty much anyone who's met him off a tennis court and outside a press conference, talk about all the time!

I think you all are a bit over the top. Its not the first time he's played a match without a hat on. For all we know, this could all come from Kim. I'm sure some of you have asked someone else how you look when you wear something new or different and you trust their opinion on that.

Someone asked him where the hat had gone and he said he only wore a hat to keep the hair out of his face and now he had trimmed his hair he didn't need it. But seeing as he has had shorter hair than now many times before and still worn a hat I get the feeling that this is a little more about image than just a whim. Cause if that was the case he'd have just said, I just decided a change. Instead he made up some excuse.
