Fish, who reached the final last week? Fish who was the only player to take a set off Djoko? Fish who beat Davydenko, Hewitt, Nalbandian and Federer? Rather then Ancic who lost in the second round to Ferrero?
Fish, who had one good week in over a year, Fish who served at way below 50%, who played 7 tough matches in just 10 days. Ancic, who missed more of last year than Andy, who has already beaten Tsonga, Gonzo and Baggy this year, who has won matches in every event he entered this year.
Fish will be too jaded and won't be able to play at the same level he played at this week.

And guess what, Ancic or Simon in Round 2
After that it's a good draw, claycourter Pico Monaco the other seed in his section and the same 1/8 as Davydenko. Ferrer is seeded be his opponent in the QF, but I'd back Youzhny to make it out of that section.

Lets hope he can do a bit better in this one. I hope he wins a Masters Series soon.
He's just not good enough I'm afraid. Won't defend his semi final from last year that's for sure, a further drop in the rankings looks likely.

You're probably right on that.

Jumping the gun a little bit, but it would proabaly be Fed in the semis.

lets get really ambitious and go for Djokovic in the final Andy can thrash Federer in the one semi and Djokovic beat Nadal in the other.
Wouldn't like to call who could win the final though.
Unfortunately I suspect Andy won't get past the QFs

If he plays consistently well, a SF is likely. The draw has been good to him so I would say its his to throw away. Like AO, 1st round is tricky, but it opens up all the way to SF. Heres hoping.
