Actually, it gets worse. I speed-read the article on Andy, and it seems to be last years, since they talk about the 19yr old who's p19 in the world and who's won "Masters Series de San José." - since when is SJ a Masters Series tournament?!

Crappy crap crap written by hired PR people who don't know the shorts from the rackets... and even less about tennis than I do...

Can't wait for the draw for this, I see Tommy Robredo and Marat Safin will be playing too, they accepted wildcards.

What's the betting that Andy'll get one of them then! Very Happy

He'd probably play better against one of them than a much lower ranked player.  I thought he might have been in Spain practising already but it looks like he's still in London, he was at a David Lloyd centre in Raynes Park helping with the Tennis Allstars Campaign for kids.

They have clay courts in Roehampton, so I guess he might be practicing there - although it's not exactly going to help him to acclimatise.

I didn't know they had clay there.

Wouldn't be a very good tennis centre without it... Think

The NTC has six outdoor clay courts - four Northern European clay and two with a FRENCH-COURT® synthetic clay surface.

Is the draw for this today?

Never mind, it's on Saturday at 1PM local time.
