Can't help but appreciate the sheer genius of his play. He's beautiful to watch.

Yeah... I'll generally support Fed against anyone except a British player... I've liked Federer since I first watched him, Wimbledon 2001.

I like Federer. Don't cheer for him or anything, but he's a nice modest guy.

Let's get real, except against Nadal on clay, and Andy, Federer doesn't play matches - he practices. Roddick is being double-bageled in a

I don't think anyone will argue that Federer is legendary and that he is invincible when he plays his best and he always does so... I just don't like his personality. I also think he's making tennis boring and I know he can't help it, but I have to be angry at someone for it.

Exactly dana! That's just what I think, I appreciate his tennis and I know he's incredible, but he just makes tennis boring!
Anyhow, people don't complain about that that much, although everybody did when Serena and Venus were winning everything!

He isn't boring to watch though. So many shots leave you gob-smacked.
I hope he retires early like Sampras did - give the other guys a chance.

Well said. I agree totally, and I think you just have to respect the guy.

I have to say, I voted No in this poll.
But after watching a biography show on Roger and an interview with him. I see he is really a normal down to Earth nice bloke.
So I change my mind to Yes. I am a fan,
Good FED-EX!! Take home the French!

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Not a fan of Federer or Nadal.
Nothing to do with them personally, I just generally never 'support' anyone who isn't British.
If I had to have a preference out of these 2, I might lean towards Nadal purely because he has been here and I have met him.
