Ireland would beat the USA. Ireland are better than most thing. They have been in the top 4 of the world

Ranking means nothing, as you should well know.

It's how the players perform on the day - whether they are playing for one team (as they should be) our out for individual glory (as some sometimes are Rolling Eyes )

I do know. But it is still a great achievment. Especially for a team in Europe where it is a lot harder to get into the high ranks

I live in Los Angeles county and I am not a soccer fan.  And I am wondering if this gamble is going to pay off for the Galaxy.  That is a hell of a lot of money to be paying someone to play a sport that isn't even very popular in America.

Ferguson is one of those very rare things... a manager who's never been relegated...

Re: Beckham to move to LA « Reply #67 on: January 30, 2007, 08:16:42 PM »

Fergie has only been sacked by one club St. Mirren roflmao it shows what the Skunks know about kicking a bladder. :fingersear:

There a story in my local paper about David Beckham making a surprise phone call to a girl who is seriously ill and idolises him. Her family had e-mailed his publicist the details and he passed them on and David made the call. clap clap clap clap

Hope the girl gets better.
