With Andy out of action through injury for the last couple of weeks it's remarkable that his ranking hasn't suffered. But as yet he's hanging on. Back in action this week it’s unfortunate but he’s already been knocked out of R1 By Simon. However, a lot of other guys to look out for so lets see where last week has taken them
Singles
Big 4 first:
Andy, again, sticks at
10
Check out
here
for latest predictions on his ranking for next week.
Tim also sticks this week at
50
Boggo, back on the up again
+2
to
117
Richard Bloomfield not so fortunate down another
-2
to
187
Other big movers:
Again some more steady climbing from the guys you’ll know:
Joshua Goodall unfortunately slips a little
-2
to
218
Jamie Baker again on the up
+2
to
231
Jonathan Marray a non mover (feel like I’m presenting the charts!) at
247
Lee Childs keeps climbing again
+5
to
431
Auks also on the upward climb going
+6
to
448
Unfortunately Martin Lee our biggest mover this week but in the wrong direction as he slips
-37
to
419
That's all in singles, now doubles:
Doubles
The big 4:
Jamie and Booty another R1 loss puts Jamie
-2
42
He and Booty out of action this week, looking forward to getting onto grass!
James Auckland also down this week
-1
to
60
Andy's ranking follows the trend
-4
to
103
And Jamie Delgado catches up a bit
+5
to
111
Others:
Couple of big movers in the doubles table this week. Names to notice:
Jonathan Marray is
+17
to
258
Jamie Baker climbs
+80
to
600
And that's kind of the headlines. Following someone in particular you can check it out here:
Singles
Doubles
Big action this week as the 4th Masters series of the year gets underway. Will anyone stop Rafa? Find out here:
here
.
But the Brits in action here this week are out!
Hoping for more of the same play as we got set 2 (Andy) and set 1 (Tim) in Hamburg next week. Looking for advanced info, entry lists etc
here
But for now…
Get back to that training lads! Clay season’s not a disaster quite yet!

And another week on the red stuff gone, another win for the clay monster. But what of the Brits? Not a great week all round, it has to be said. But that doesn't always come out in the rankings. So let's have a look at this week's movement.
Singles
Big 4 first:
Andy, again, sticks at
10
Check out
here
for latest predictions on his ranking for next week.
Murray takes on Volandri, probably Tuesday. Click
here
to lodge you predictions and join in with the banter.
Tim, back on that steady downward curve drops
-6
to
56
Boggo, still floating around the same spot this week drops
-1
to
118
Richard Bloomfield sticks this week at
187
Other big movers:
Not a great week from the guys you’ll know:
Joshua Goodall also stays put at
218
Jamie Baker unfortunately drops this week
-4
to
235
Jonathan Marray, again, a non mover at
247
Alan Mackin and Martin Lee both keep climbing
+3
to
259 and 416
respectively
And to finish on a high note, Daniel Cox jumps a fair bit this week climbing
+57
to
1092
That's all in singles, now doubles:
Doubles
The big 4:
Not a great deal to report here:
Jamie, back at home in Scotland taking a bit of a break before the French sticks at
42
James Auckland however up a sneaky spot
+1
to
59
Andy's ranking suffering from lack of action is
-1
to
104
And Jamie Delgado catches up a bit more
+1
to
110
Others:
Couple of big movers in the doubles table this week. Names to notice:
Tom Rushby is
+14
to
357
Ian Flanagan climbs
+63
to
604
Simon Childs is
+79
to
921
And that's kind of the headlines. Following someone in particular you can check it out here:
Singles
Doubles
Big action this week as the 5th Masters series of the year gets underway. Will this be Nadal's 4th MS title of the year. Is Federer's reign really over? Find out
here
Look out for Andy defending his first clay points of the season there.
Other Brits in action:
Boggo seeded 7 at a challenger in Zagreb, Auks and Delgado also No 1 seeded doubles pair
here
And Richard Bloomfield is up in San Remo, Italy taking on a WC in the singles and partnering Polish Tomasz Bednarek in the doubles.
And that's it! Come on the Lads!

So weeks of injury troubles have finally taken their toll on Andy's ranking. It's amazing he hung on for as long as he did to be quite honest. However, this week hasn't ben the best of weeks for any of the brits. Let's check it out.
Singles
Big 4 first:
Andy, as part of a big p7-11 shuffle this week finds himself at the bottom of the pack going
-1
to
11
Check out
here
for latest predictions on his ranking for next week.
Tim, back on the up climbs
+4
to
52
Boggo, takes an encouraging climb this week
+5
to
113
Richard Bloomfield also slips a little
-1
to
188
Other big movers:
FAR too many to mention this week with over 30 double figure movers so I'll just give you the names you'll know and the biggest jumps.
Joshua Goodall also stays put at
218
Jamie Baker unfortunately drops this week
-2
to
237
Jonathan Marray and Alan Mackin swap places with Marray
-12
to
259
Alan Mackin stepping up
+2
to
257
Daniel Cox jumps a fair bit again this week climbing
+32
to
1060
Miles Kasiri, however, makes our biggest leap this week up an astonishing
+256
to
855
I'm gonna stop there but definately check out the movement this week case there's been a lot of big movement for most of the guys.
So on to doubles:
Doubles
The big 4:
Again, loads to report here:
Jamie, back at home in Scotland taking a bit of a break before the French manages to move
+1
this week to
41
James Auckland also up a little
+2
to
57
And Jamie Delgado steals no 3 spot back by climbing
+7
to
103
Andy's stays put at
104
Others:
Couple of big movers in the doubles table this week. Names to notice:
Richard Bloomfield is
+27
to
400
Edward Corrie climbs
+42
to
804
Dan Evans is
+106
to
975
And that's kind of the headlines. Following someone in particular you can check it out here:
Singles
Doubles
Other Brits in action:
Just Jamie and Eric in action in the doubles this week. You can chat about their first match
here
And that's it! Come on the Lads!

Just a small note on british tennis interests in the younger generations...
Rhuri Macleod and Jonny O'mara (you may remember his dad
) both coached by the same person, both scottish, have both just won their respective age group national clay court titles. (that's UK titles). Andy apparently won the 12 and under when he was 12..... Two stars of the future? Bit early to say but fingers crossed. (P.S. I play with rhuri's dad!

Last of the French open prep out of the way and a couple of big results for some guys in the futures has meant a little bit of movement outside the top 500. Let's check it out.
Singles
Big 4 first:
Andy, stays put at
11
Remarkably Andy could finish at P8 2 weeks on Monday without lifting a raquet. Check out
here
for the progress on that.
Tim, down again this week
-1
to
53
Boggo, keeps climbing this week
+1
to
112
Richard Bloomfield slipping down again a little
-1
to
189
Other big movers:
Doing the recognisable names and biggest movers again:
Joshua Goodall slips a little this week
-7
to
225
Jamie Baker unfortunately drops this week too
-15
to
252
Lee Childs is up this week
+46
to
406
Ian Flanagan is
+90
to
794
Richard Irwin jumps a fair bit again this week climbing
+42
to
827
Miles Kasiri, however, makes our biggest leap this week again making his second final in a row taking him
+133
to a career high
722
I'm gonna stop there but give the table a glance yourself cause there's been a fair bit more movement again.
So on to doubles:
Doubles
The big 4:
Jamie, despite winning his first match on clay this week a non mover at
41
James Auckland also sticks at
57
And Jamie Delgado inching closer to the top 100
+2
to
101
Andy hot on his heels
+2
at
102
Others:
Couple of big movers in the doubles table this week. Names to notice:
Lee Childs is
+14
to
444
Ian Flanagan is
+21
to
586
Edward Corrie climbs
+96
to
708
And that's kind of the headlines. Following someone in particular you can check it out here:
Singles
Doubles
Other Brits in action:
With all the guys out of the French open in qualifying just Tim in the main draw and Jamie and Eric in action in the doubles again this week. You can chat about their first match
here
and give Tim a shout out
here
And that's it! Come on the Lads!

So the French open played out pretty much as we expected (and hoped) it to, with the exception of Tim's early exit of course. With Andy out of action we anxiously watched the result of those behind him hoping he could make a bit of a climb before his return. Rafa crowned champion, defeating Federer in the process, early exits from Berdych, Gasquet, Ljubicic and a no show from Haas. Was it enough?
Singles
Big 4 first:
Andy, amazingly despite injury moves up
+2
to a new career high
9
Now it starts to get difficult. big defense time coming up, Andy needs to get fit. Head to the News section for the latest on the wrist and
here
to find out what this weeks results could do to his ranking come Monday
Tim, down again this week
-1
to
54
Boggo's exit in qualifying puts him
-5
to
117
but check him (and Jamie Baker) out at Queens this week courtesy of a pair of WC's.
Richard Bloomfield stays put at
189
Other big movers:
Doing the recognisable names and biggest movers again:
Joshua Goodall up
+2
to
223
Jamie Baker climbs
+5
to
247
Jamie Delgado on the up this week
+16
to
571
Tom Rushby is
+62
to
589
James Ward jumps a fair bit again this week climbing
+45
to
679
James May, however, makes our biggest leap this week climbibg a staggering
+558
to a career high
964
That's all from me but, again, give the table a glance yourself cause there's been a fair bit more movement.
So on to doubles:
Doubles
The big 4:
Jamie, despite making his debut French open appearance
-2
to
43
Come on the grass!
James Auckland also down
-2
at
59
And Jamie Delgado breaks into that top 100
+4
to
97
Andy plummits a little
-16
at
118
Others:
Lot of positive movement in the doubles table this week. Names to notice:
Jamie Baker is
+14
to
623
Edward Seator is
+161
to
783
Richard Irwin climbs
+66
to
836
And that's kind of the headlines. Following someone in particular you can check it out here:
Singles
Doubles
Other Brits in action:
Brits mainly playing at Queens this week with Tim, Boggo and Jamie Baker in the singles draw and Jamie Murray and Booty, Delgado and Ross Hutchins and Auks with Ginepri all in doubles.
Check out the draw, OOP and livescores at the
official website
Some MW representatives got tickets this week so check out the banter
here
.
And that's it! Come on the Lads!
