Of course he can beat Ancic , but can you still admit that the Croat is and was the worst player for Murray to be drawn against?
As for Haase, well the Scott has always struggled aginst hard-hitting players like the dutchman - check his poor records against Baghdatis, Tsonga, Ljubicic or Wawrinka to see what I mean (www.atptennis.com).

Yeah, among the worst R2 opponents sure. Only Volandri might compare really. But Andy shouldn't have to worry about R1 or R2 opponents in any tournaments. Not really.

Wish you were right. Andy's lost twice to first round opponents this year, and to Ancic in 2nd r.
Also I forgot to mention, last year in Paris Bercy he was due to face Djokovic in r2, the tournament which was crucial to his access to the masters cup in Shanghai;
he didn't play him, nor did he qualify, but still... yuk

I was listening to Peter Fleming today and he said that he thought Murray had done well to get to the Quarter finals in MC and that if he did the same again in the next few tournaments then this would be good.
