As an England fan, I'm happy he's out, but i wouldn't have been too upset if he'd have got a century to get into double figures. He said before the match that was one of his aims (together with getting an average over 40).

Stephen Fleming's career figures: 111 matches, 189 innings, 10 NO, Average 40.07, 9 centuries, 46 half-centuries.
Not great, but respectable.

Broad is going to be some player. He's bowling brilliantly here.
Now if we can just get rid of Taylor today and get into McCullum...

If they get a couple more wickets, they'll probably give them an extra half hour to bowl them out tonight...

Panesar has taken 5 wickets! And its 5 of the top 7 in the batting line up, which is the best sort of 5-for, especially for a spinner who normally takes wickets later in the innings.

Panesar got another, and Anderson got one. One more to go! Come on England.

Match hasn't finished yet, but who should get man of the match - Strauss, Sidebottom or Panesar? I've got absolutely no idea who i'd give it to!

Just out of class and expected to read we had wrapped it up without much fuss!

Man of the match is a tough choice but it's Strauss for me. His innings took the match away from NZ, and don't forget he was playing for his career too. If he hadn't made a hundred, he was most likely out of the side again. What he did was incredible.

What Sidebottom did all series was out of this world and he will quite rightly be named Man of the Series. Quite fitting that he took the last wicket to make it 24 for the series. He was the difference between the 2 sides really. He was the go to man who we could always rely on to bowl them out. Fortunately Panesar stepped up when he didn't get it quite right in the final innings. Amazing story. In the space of a year he's gone from a 1 test, no wickets wonder nobody to 1st name on the team sheet. I thought Pietersen was the most prized autograph I got at the Twenty20, but I'm pretty happy with getting Sidebottom now!

They gave man of the match, as well as England's man of the series, to Sidebottom.

E by gum, that Tim Southee took it to the bowlers didn't he? blink  Fabulous innings from him clap and did what some of the others should have done.

Well done England and congrats to Mr Sidebottom - I feel proud that I have a photo of his backside Very Happy
