Incredible score from the 1st Test between India and South Africa. India are 454-1 from just 102 overs. Sehwag is 301 not out!
South Africa thought their 540 all out was a reasonable total! lol

I was at Lord's Yesterday for a company-wide event.
We were in the long-room, the rooftop terrace and the media centre. The media centre is unreal, I can't believe it's like the hull of a ship - very cool building! thumb up

Annoying that when I went there on the tour in 1999 the media centre was closed for some event like your lot so we couldn't go in.

Noone's mentioned the current series against New Zealand. The first test started on Thursday, and after a very good start, England let slip a little, but still ended up bowling out NZ for 277. England, after a good start batting lost 3 wickets today, and are 160-3 at lunch. Looking very much like a draw, with only one day to go after today. Anyone else following? Any thoughts?

Yeah been following it of course, although the weather has meant I haven't been able to watch much. Losing yesterday was a bugger. Needed the full day to pile on the runs and set up a win. Can only be a draw now.

I think its like 12 Lord's test matches now in a row which have had quite big disruptions because of weather, or so one of my friends told me...

I've been watching - sorry forgot to mention!  Can't believe that it's 2 months ago that they were playing down the road! blink

Also can't believe the prices for tickets!!!  33-40 quid for the tickets at Old Trafford this week - we paid that in dollars!!!  65 quid for the ones at Lords fainting  This is why we never went to see them play at Headingly no

If only Strauss could have held that sitter. How will make 100 now.
Also there were chances to get McCullum before the break too. If we could have got him then, we could have exposed the lower order before lunch and a good 2nd session from Sidebottom and Panesar might have given us an outside chance of victory. McCullum and How will take the game away and save the match for NZ in the 2nd session now.

At least it's one less wicket we need.
