So who is it likely to be in the relegation playoff, and will there be any realistic hope of a respectable result (assuming Murray doesn't play)?

There are 8 teams we could play, the winners of
Croatia / Italy
Holland / Macedonia
Switzerland / Belarus
Georgia / Slovakia
Chile / Canada
Uruguay / Columbia / Brazil
Australia / Thailand
India / Japan

All those matches happen in April.

I don't think that's correct. We only play the European teams no?

I.e.

Croatia / Italy
Holland / Macedonia
Switzerland / Belarus
Georgia / Slovakia

And its September

I think Josh knows that, the matches he listed happen in April, then we play whoever we get drawn against in September Smile

No, we can play any of the teams.  If we lose in September then we can only play European teams.

There's potential for a tie we might have a chance in then at least.

Actually I got it a bit wrong Whistle

The 8 winners of those matches plus the 8 losers will then be given a seeding from 1 to 8 on DC rankings.  It is unlikely we will be seeded so we will probably face a tougher team than those listed.

Djokovic retired against Davydenko despite being 2 sets to 1 up.

So, Russia is through to a home quarterfinal tie against Czech Republic.

Bogga was winning the second set last time I checked but I had to walk the dog, does anyone know what happened?

Baker is playing the final rubber and is down a break in the first set.
