Dubai 2008

Definitely worth a thread of its own
It could be mistaken for a MS event.

Fed looks to have a tough R1 draw.
I sense an upset.

I've never seen a draw, which I've heard of all the players in it!
That's amazing.

First match up on centre, Santoro has just taken the first set 6-3 against Youzhny. Misha is misfiring on both wings.

Agree, his style of play is just so crafty.
Still prefer Misha though.

Andys doubles match isn't on the order of play for today which means he will probably have 2 matches tomorrow.

That's just stupid, as long as his singles is first!
Nadal and Kohlschreiber out right now - 3-2 to Kohlschreiber with Nadal serving.

What I like about this event is that it actually has the feel of a grand slam: the field, the television coverage, the night matches, the venue, the prize money, the atmosphere.
I think Dubai warrants an upgrade in terms of points.
