Because I didn't want all the fuss. Celebrated my 18th and that was fine. I didn't feel like I needed to mark the occasion as I felt that it was exactly that, a non-event.

And I like being 21 because I don't feel old, I'm more experienced with the world (could happen at any age i suppose) and I'm enjoying myself. So i's probably not my age, but just that life is reasonably good, so I associate that with being 21. Smile

Oh don't get me wrong, I love a good night out. But at the time, a lot of people were away to uni and so on and so forth, so it makes it very difficult to organise things with the people you would like to spend your evening with.

Yeah thats what sucked about my 21st, most of my friends where away or too skint.  I wish I did something for my 18th instead.

I'm waiting to be 21, because then i can be insured on my Mum's car. Her insurance only lets her add on over-21's, and she doesn't want to change insurers...

RAGING!

Just had the worst run of luck EVER playing poker. Luckily it was for small amounts.

KK v JA... I lost with KK TWICE to trip jacks and a straight.... not even an A.... how annoying.

JA v 55. I flopped two pair, pushed, and got called. Turn card.... a 5.... how annoying...

A6s Flop 2spades low cards, i bet, get called. Next card a spade, I push, guy turns over 33 and has a full house..... never put him on such a low pair because of his big pre flop raise. ARGH!!!

such terrible terrible hands.

The only hand I won which was decent was J3!!! I MEAN JACK THREE!!! THAT'S RIDICULOUS! I SHOULD GET DESTROYED EVERYTIME WITH JACK f**kING THREE!

I'm in a great mood.  Eating my breakfast at my desk wearing my new jewellery from my friends and from the lovely Lorna and I'm feeling fabulous.  Also its my last day before four days off woooooooooooo!!!

I don't know why, but for some reason I had the impression you were a bit older than many of us here. More like 30s. Never realised you were not 21 yet!
