Your job is unlikely to be as physically demanding.

Maybe not as physically demanding but more mentally demanding!  Think  Whats the difference?

Meh, I would only shorten the tennis season if they subsequently shortened the clay season. The calendar definitely needs re-structuring.  Think

Regardless of season duration... we should cut the clay and extend the grass season Smile

I think that the Australian Open should be two weeks later and the French Open two weeks earlier. That way the players have time to prepare properly for all grand Slams, each of which are on different surfaces.

I think they should have a shorter season, its not fair that they only get one month off a year.  Its more tiresome for them with all the travelling they do.  Look at footballers.  Most of the time they just travel about in the same country.  No long flights and jet lag week after week for them.

Alright it will be boring for the rest of us waiting around for season to start, but the quality of play would be alot better.

The main content of Mac's interview included shifting the AO to March and putting in a considerable Grass court season before Wimbly.
