New laptop.  Didn't buy it fully loaded as I have the software so need to spend most of tomorrow loading all that plus all my stuff too.  What a chore.

I've got to reinstall all my software (which will be a pain) but I need a new monitor first and then I have to save all my files before reinstalling - not to worry, I'll have plenty of time soon!

I was disappointed with The Golden Compass - I hope that you're not.  I Am Legend is ok and I haven't see the rest.

$8.79 for a padded envelope and the postage to post a birthday card, gift & photo cd to my friend who lives in Cyprus but will actually be visiting her mum in the UK next week, so I've posted it there.  I also lied on what was in the package so that any would be thief wouldn't be interested in the contents!
